Izena is a curatorial platform and art advisory dedicated to supporting emerging artists both locally and globally.

Izena strives to nurture a diversity of creative practices, from handmade furniture to hand-bound books, sculpture, glassware, painting and more. Hosting pop-up exhibitions throughout the year, Izena seeks to collaborate and engage.

Founder and Director, Stella Smith, grew up in creative communities between Ibiza and London. Fortunate to travel as a child, she developed a keen eye for beauty and innovation manifested in a diversity of media and practice. After graduating from her Art History and Philosophy BA at UCL, she moved to Mexico City, working in numerous galleries and artist studios. Upon her return to London in 2023, she has made it her mission to support young creatives. Stella has curated multiple group and solo exhibitions, recently winning The Best Stand Award at the London Art Fair 2025 and is the official art curator for The Conran Shop.
